Annual Symposium

Environmental Institute

The theme for this year’s symposium is The State of the Estuary, including the current status of the estuary as well as the current status of research on the estuary.  This event will be a chance for scientists to showcase their own research projects focused on the Choctawhatchee as well as a way to network and learn of other relevant studies.  As part of the symposium, the Mattie Kelly Cultural and Environmental Institute will host a community outreach event featuring activities such as a guided kayak trip down the Choctawhatchee.
