IC Club Officer Elections
02/21/08 -
We will be electing club officers during the International Potluck Dinner on Feb 21st. See IC Club Events for details. The club needs motivated students to fill the following positions:
The President executes the day-to-day activities of the club pursuant to this constitution. The President calls meetings of the club and may form committees to plan and carry out special/routine activities of the club.
The Vice President assists the President in carrying out his/her duties. Additionally, the Vice President assumes the office of President in the event the President terminates his/her office before the expiration of his/her term, is incapacitated or is not available to carry out his/her function for any normally scheduled event.
The Treasurer will collect all funds, including dues, for deposit at the OWC Business Office, where a separate account will be established for the International Club. The Treasurer is also responsible to ensure commitment of funds is approved by the membership at a regular or called meeting, and that all requisitions for materials and services shall be signed by the Club Advisor. Funds may be disbursed only by submitting a check requisition signed by the student treasurer and the advisor to the NWFSC Business Office.
The Secretary is responsible for submitting minutes from each meeting to the Coordinator of Student Activities, which will then be placed in each organizations file. The Secretary also maintains the membership rolls. The Secretary will read the minutes and any open action items prior to discussion of new business during each regular meeting.
Any student interested in becoming an International Club Officer please contact Mrs Nancy Ordonia at 729-6020 or email ordonian@nwfstatecollege.edu.
