Returning Students
In-State Fees for Alabama Residents
Alabama residents qualify for in-state fees at Northwest Florida State College plus a border-state fee of $1 per credit hour. The normal OWC in-state fees are $66.78 per credit hour. Alabama residents pay $67.78 per credit. For example, a 3-credit course will cost $200.34 for a Florida resident and $203.34 for an Alabama resident who enrolls at OWC.
To enroll:
- Complete Admissions/Registration Forms.
Download forms from the OWC web site at www.owc.edu or pick up forms at any OWC location. Complete the Application for Admission, the Residency Classification and the special
Alabama Resident declaration forms. Choose your classes and also complete the Registration/Drop Add form.Click here for addresses and maps of OWC's 6 locations.

Register for classes.
Alabama residents may register for classes in any given semester during the applicable timeframe for new or returning students provided a completed Alabama residency form has been received by the OWC Admissions Office.
- Pay Fees.
Alabama residents may pay fees on-line via the OWC web site or in-person at any OWC location.
