Fees & Financial Aid
Allied Health Programs: Radiography
Northwest Florida State College fees are the lowest in Florida of any state college or university. An Alabama Border State fee of an additional $1 per credit hour is available. Books and supplies for Radiography students average $1200 for the entire 2 years with the greatest expense in the first semester. Clinical attire averages $150. Students are responsible for their own transportation to the clinical agencies during clinical rotations. Other expenses include a drug screen and background check which totals around $100.00 for the 2 year period. A health and dental exam are required as a pre-enrollment condition.
Financial Aid is available, including the usual forms of state and federal financial aid, Military Tuition Assistance, Pell grants, Stafford Loans, Veteran's Assistance, Northwest Florida State College student loans and the Florida Student Assistance Grants. Students seeking state or federal aid will need to complete the "Free Application for Federal Student Aid." Students should submit the FAFSA as soon as possible after receiving their most recent W-2 tax notice. Information on the FAFSA, as well as an online submission option is available at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Local scholarship opportunities specific to the college's Allied Health programs are available to qualifying students through the NWF State College Foundation.
