Admission Information
EMS Programs
Applications are accepted January 1 to June 1.
In order to be eligible for admission into the EMS/Paramedic Program, you must be fully admitted to the College. The following items must be received by June 1:
- Official high school transcript or GED score report on file at the Northwest Florida State College Office of Admissions
- Complete Application and Residency form and all supporting residency documents
- Completion of college-wide orientation (available online)
- Complete Nursing and Allied Health Programs Online Application
- Official transcripts from all prior college courses must be received by Office of Admissions.
Selection Process
All eligible applicants will be accepted unless the number exceeds the space available, in which case a point system will be used to select students.
Students with the highest point totals will be admitted first. If there is a tie among point totals, a random lottery among tied student will be used to determine admission.
Pre-Enrollment Requirements
- Adult, infant, child CPR & AED training
- Hepatitis B vaccine
- Physical Examination
- Background check
- Drug Screen
