Students may specialize in an A.A. degree to meet the specific pre-requisite requirements of more than 200 Florida bachelor degree programs.

In addition to the 264-acre Niceville Campus, Northwest Florida State College operates a joint campus with the University of West Florida in Fort Walton Beach. Northwest Florida State College also operates the Chautauqua Center in DeFuniak Springs, the Robert L.F. Sikes Education Center in Crestview, and centers at Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field.

Northwest Florida State College serves approximately 15,000 students annually. About 45 percent of students are age 24 and under, 24 percent of students are age 25 to 34 and 24 percent are age 35 to 49.

Northwest Florida State College offers an extensive Distance Learning Program through which students may earn credit in nearly 80 different college classes, through online or text-based instruction.

The Arts Center on the Niceville campus houses the popular A.A. to B.A. Humanities Interdisciplinary Program offered in conjunction with UWF.
