Educator Preparation Institute
The EPI program will begin a new cohort each semester if there is sufficient enrollment. Students who wish to enroll can complete all OWC and EPI admissions requirements at any time. Contact Penny Cox at 729-5322 for more information.
The EPI program has a mandatory orientation for each new cohort before classes start. This orientation is necessary in order for students to receive training in D2L, OWC's distance learning management system, the use of the library research data bases and to receive important program information. Students will be notified each semester when orientation will be held.
OWC also offers several review classes for the Florida Teacher Certification Exams. These classes are non-credit and are open to anyone who is interested in preparing for the General Knowledge Exam or the elementary education K-6 exam. Please select these links for the schedules of FCTE review classes: Summer 2008 | Fall 2008. Pre-registration is required for these courses. There is no on-site registration the day of classes.
