Northwest Florida State College is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097: Telephone number 404-679-4501) to award associate and bachelor degrees, certificates and diplomas.
From August 1964, when OWC first opened its doors, through 2002, the college has served more than 194,000 individuals in credit and non-credit programs, and OWC has awarded more than 17,800 degrees.
